Nissan delivers some civility to the rough and rugged Pathfinder legacy. MotorWeek's John Davis has first driving impressions of the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder.

www.autobytel.com Almost 30 years ago Nissan launched the Pathfinder which started the SUV revolution. Back then they had a 2-door model then a 4-door model eventually came about. In many ways the 2nd generation Pathfinder was ahead of its time because of the unibody construction. Now fast forward to 2013 and we have an all new 4th generation model seen here. This crossover SUV is all about capability, roominess, comfort, and fuel economy. The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder has a base price of $28270. The Pathfinder is best in class when it comes to a couple of different areas. Gas mileage ratings are best in class at 20 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. The Infiniti JX is the sister car to this new Pathfinder and Nissan borrowed a couple of systems from this more luxurious crossover SUV. The latch and glide system is part of the easy flex seating and allows you for easier access to the 3rd row of seats. The Pathfinder is able to seat up to 7 passengers. The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is available in 4 trim levels that include: Base S, SV, SL ...
